There's two types of RV antifreeze and there's quite a difference as outlined
here and
here.
The cheaper ethanol based stuff can dry out seals, cause a bad odor and taste in water lines and will evaporate and is flammable. The better PG base stuff is none of that and will also lubricate seals.
You may have to shop around for the PG type since the other type is cheaper and more competitively priced and not stocked as much. For the few extra $$, the PG type is the better choice. If you are blowing out your lines, the extra cost is almost insignificant. You may need to read the contents of a jug of antifreeze closely as sometimes it's hard to find on the label. I've seen a couple where the contents weren't even mentioned which I thought is required by law.
