There are 3 ways to winterize
WET: method, Pink up the lines and well... You now know the downside of that one (Flushing all that******out come spring)
Dry: Blow Babriel Blow, the lines out with a compressor set to around 50 PSI, I like to do this 5-10 times with a couple minutes between blows.. Pink up the drain traps, toilets and such (I mean flushing them come spring, No big deal)
And the method I've been using for four years now. Works great.. The "S" method
The full method goes like this
(Optional part) Strap a snow blower to the front of the rig) (Obligatory part) Drive toward the equator (South in the US) Till (Option 1: Somebody looks at the contraption on the front and says "What the (@*#&$ IS that for?") or (Option 2) You no longer see "Bridge freezes before road" signs. now park ou are winterized.
Actually.. I don't go quite that far south.. Though the people where I park would not recognize a snow blower There are still bridge signs.. Gets down into the 20's on occasion (RV is rated for 20 with furnace running, and trust me, at 20, it's running)
