Antifreeze in everything!

I couldn't figure out why I could not stop getting pink water at the taps until I realized previous owner added some antifreeze to fresh tank! Not only that, but he didn't bypass the water heater. :(

I know what I'm doing all afternoon... fill, drain and repeat...

    Video taping the PDI is a good idea, but I have 4 of them and none ever showed how to properly winterize.

    Winterize 101 was a different session.

    I would shock the system with Clorox, then neutralize with baking soda. This should take the after taste away. You are right it will take a long time to purge the anti-freeze from the system. It has a tendency to foam a lot.
