Any E rated tire in 205/75/14 or heaviest available.

I wanted to change out my wheels and tires to a 15" heavy duty wheel and tire but found out I don't have room to do so without a ton of work and welding to move one of my axels back because I have a Dexter axel on my TT. With that being said what is the heaviest duty 205/75/14 or 215/75/14 inch tire I can get for my trailer. I currently have a load range C tire with a max load range of 1750LBS. I would like to get above 2400LBS with as many ply's as possible.

Ply "ratings" do not mean the actual number of plys in a tires.

Stick with Load Range or the actual number on the side of the tire.

Goodyear also makes the HMG 2020 for Uhaul. Some are sold online.

    HMG2020
The HMG 2020 is only J speed rated (62MPH).

The Kumho 857 is a D rated tire and is speed rated at 99MPH (if I recall correctly).
  • Hankook RA08 , a true D rated tire , over 2100# capacity, 99 mph, 8 ply; you will have to order online probably, mine came from busdepot.com. $500 for 4 shipped, and you only need 195R14
  • There is no good reason to increase the size of the tires and rims.
A quick Google search shows that 215/75/14 is readily available in load range E.
