OP here… Some really good thoughts here. Some people are so creative, as in “propane art”, air tanks etc.
Couple weeks ago I got all my propane bottles in one place, and took 3 of them down to our propane and rv guy. I have 7 smaller tanks, and a couple “pickle barrel” size(too many for my use any more).
Told the propane guy “why don’t you take this one and give it somebody that needs it”? He said “you keep it I’d rather sale a new one” OK never thought of it that way but does make sense. I asked “what have you seen other people do with them besides throw them away”?
Bear in mind, over the years this guy has done a lot of work for us. Matter of fact he has had our rv keys rv’s for over 20 years. It used to be real handy when something broke over the weekend to call him on Monday and have him fix it over the week, and be ready for us the following weekend. Not to mention if you forget keys at home. But now being retired it doesn’t matter (I no longer get weekends off).:C
Anyways when paying the bill he was telling me about people that think they are either getting ripped off because of the OPD valve and basically don’t understand them. So I was going to make him a “cut away” so people could actually see how OPD valve works. People could actually lift up and down “thingie” and get a better understanding of how they work.
Here is a pic of what I’m going to do. What do you people think?
