We are thinking about moving to a cheaper state. Does any one know of housing developments in Georgia that have RV garages? Thanks

Haven't heard of any in GA, but there is a beautiful one in Crossville TN. It's called The Gardens RV Village. We love Crossville TN! Lots of RVers there. http://www.gardensrvvillage.com/ There are lots of them in Florida also. Lake Ashton in Lake Wales Florida. http://www.lakeashton.com/ Florida has no state tax.

I used to a have web bookmark for a place in north GA mountains that had RV garages where you also used RV for living space. Sadly, bookmark has long been lost/deleted. If I get chance to do some searches and run across web site again I'll post it here. There are lot of homes with detached RV garages/barns/sheds...some are shared with tractors though :)

Lived here for over 30 years and never once saw or heard of a "RV-friendly" subdivision. However, lots of unincorporated areas with very little zoning to worry about. Buy a nice house with a little bit of property and put your own RV garage up. We would be delighted to have all you over-taxed and under-appreciated Marylanders down here. Please make sure you leave all your "back home we did it this way" at the state line. As the late, great Godfather of Georgia, Lewis Grizzard, once said, "Delta is ready when you are" if you keep telling how you did it back in Maryland. :)

Lewis Grizzard...there's a great. Even as a Ga Tech fan I thought he was great.

Lewis was a great fan of Georgia football. *rumor* has it that one night the gate to Sanford Stadium was left and open and his ashes were spread on the playing fields where his hero's played on Saturdays. He was a darn good Dog. Rest in Peace brother Dog.
