Any innovative ideas for lugging a heavy/awkward generator

the 'suitcase-type' inverter generator we just got weighs just enough (with fuel, about 65 lbs) and is just awkward enough in shape and size to make it unpleasant to lug around from the house to the truck or to lug around the campsite....unfortunately, this one doesn't have wheels and there's no wheel kit available

Came up with the idea of just putting it in a wagon if I had to take it a ways...but that seems 'tippy', and impractical over anything but a paved surface

Has anyone come up with a work-around?
  • At one time, Camping World sold a special made luggage bag with wheels. It had small compartments for the accessories and protected the generator well. In addition, it had both hand and shoulder straps. I bought two for my pair of generators and did have trouble with weak bottoms, axles and wheels, but I beefed them up. They quit selling them and I know of no other source. Perhaps some searching for generator bags or one that can be modified might turn up something.
