You don't have to pull a fuse or disconnect anything. You put it in neutral, turn the key to the ACC position, turn the radio, heater, AC, fan, lights, etc. off, unplug any device from the cigarette lighter, and turn the radio display off. Thats it. No loss of radio presets or significant battery draw.

esox is there one fuse or what do you 'pull'? Hate the thought of a disconnect then you will lose presets on radio etc. Please expand on your reply.

I just put the key on the ACC position (first click), turn off/unplug all power draws, and turn off the radio display light. Battery does not drain.

for those who have and tow one, do you disconnect battery or what do you do to keep lights etc off? Is there a fuse to pull that disables the lights or what?

Went to CW to check on their prices. Got the EZ2 for $429 (about $400 on net)$29 to install. Got the wiring harness for $95 again $29 install so about $700 for parts and labor. Asked about install of the brake system they will have to give me an estimate but it will be at regular labor prices to do it. Plus all is lifetime guarantee!

So in about a month or so will be able to get ready for the summer. Likely trip to be to DW in orlando unless weather turns crappy as it did last year, if it does we may just head out to Glacier park.

I have a 2007 Hyundai Accent (manual trans) and talked to the service manager at the local dealer. It can be towed no wheels, 2 wheel or 4 wheels down. I get 30 miles per gallon and have only had one major expense with it in over 168,000 miles (clutch/pressure plate replaced). Very happy with the vehicle. Getting the Roadmaster setup for towing it.

Well we purchased a new Elantra to be a tow vehicle. Seems to run well with 6 speed manual trans all the nicer bells & whistles that were not on the KIA!

Got to order a baseplate from e-trailer for the roadmaster assy that came with the motorhome.

I've driven a 2010 Forte SX a few times. Very nice car, great power, well-equipped and comfortable. It has 50K trouble-free miles. IIRC since it's an auto it's only towable on a dolly.

Spotted a Santa Fe a couple of weeks ago at Tacho's RV Park in Puerto Vallarta!

Nice Looking Car .....But the Lower Front Bumper and Facia had been ripped off along with the Base Plates.

I didn't have My Camera ,and I couldn't tell what make the Tow bar and Base were as they were still attached to the Class C from Quebec!

The attachment points looked pretty poor in My opinion.
