I have always had this idea of making some kind of slide out tray thing that was contained inside a sheet metal box, that was mounted in front of the axles. Like a 4'x 8' layout. It could only be about 6-8" tall though. Probably a dumb idea.
fireman; I too, have taken some projects with me and have always had a couple of people walk over to where I was working and tell me about their trains etc.

tesetsaf; That is a cool idea. I normally play with Ho scale but I have accumulated a fair amount of N scale over the years. Maybe I can use it all in the trailer some way.
