I have a
Cobra 29WXNWST mounted under the dash on my truck. It is usually on whenever we are traveling and is good for weather alerts and traffic tie-ups.
I use it with an earpiece so my wife doesn't have to listen to the truckers. I don't mind them as it helps keep me alert. She usually just listens to her IPod.
Have been using a CB since they first came out in the late 50's. Had a Heathkit in the house and a Johnson in the car. I have only talked with another RVer one time though, and he called me.
