If what they have said is true and the virus only lasts on surface for a few days, what are the chances of a hotel being the place you would get infected? I don't think hotels are busy right now. Chances are that the room you would stay in hasn't been touched in a week or greater. I would think you could ask for a room that hasn't been used in the last week. I think any hotel would be happy to have you. But, you need to take precautions and wipe things down. My concern would be stopping for gas, bathroom, etc.
Why not take your trailer and stay in it? Or, just stay put for another couple months?
I've been out and about locally a few times. Every time I do I am surprised at how many people are traveling around. The traffic is less than normal, but people are not staying home. Best to side on the side of caution with the health conditions you have. But, if you go out like you are the one with the virus, then you also shouldn't get it from someone else. Assuming you have the right PPE.
