Any one use an air fryer??

Thank you. I guess I was asking about both. I thought they were maybe the same thing. I'm glad you cleared that up. ( I have NuWave induction cookers and love them)

So, why is either one any different then cooking in a convection oven ? The use heat and air circulation to cook the food. I use a convection toaster oven to cook my french fry's etc.

I realize that tastes is a subjective thing. But, does the food taste any different in a Air Fryer or NuWave oven then what it does in a toaster oven?

Can you cook good fried chicken evenly in your toaster? I can!

Of course would they taste different. Fat, salt and sugar are taste enhancers that stimulate our taste buts. They have to relearn how food is supposed to taste without these enhancers.

We've got a Nuwave, and mostly do fries with it. It does a decent job, but, they are different than oil fried French fries. But, if you are on a "no fried foods" diet, you may want to try one.

We just bought a Nu Wave. I can see us not using oil anymore.
They do consume a lot of power 1,400W.

Love the oil-less air fryer. I would say one brand is just as good as the other. Your results may vary. Search YOUTUBE videos.

I got one through New Egg. I like it a lot, and stopped using the oil fryer.

We have a Chefman 2.5 Liter Air Fryer (Boscovs $80). My wife and I love it. It's great for chicken wings.

We found it's difficult to buy frozen pre-breaded seafood that isn't mostly breading. Even Sams Club frozen seafood has too much breading.
