There must be different types of inflatable sofa beds. We had a Flexsteel model that was the most comfortable sofa bed we've ever slept on. The Flexsteel model was half mattress and half inflatable. It had a screw on inflator that filled the mattress in about 30 seconds. It took less than two minutes to fold out the bed and inflate it.
