Haven't had to do that....yet. Just make sure you have a bucket handy to keep
things from spilling on the ground.
As for not having a truck, I'm sure some understanding neighbor would let
you hitch it to his and give you a ride/tug up to the dump. I'm a little surprised
no one has offered when they've seen you pulling a tote uphill.
