I don't wear gloves, but I do wash my hands thoroughly after dumping and I avoid standing in areas of contaminated water that may be on the ground and I have never gotten sick in 15 years of RVing. Do you wear gloves when you go to the bathroom?

I also don't find the chore tedious nor filthy (especially not filthy if done correctly). It's just a fact of RVing life. No biggie.
