Something doesn't sound right here and I'm getting a nasty visual imagining it.

The wife has the 3/4 inch diameter hose in the three inch diameter black tank pipe.
The wife pulls the hose out and gallons of brown water comes out.
This implies that the little 3/4 inch hose is somehow holding back gallons of black water in a three inch pipe. I can't believe that is possible unless the wife has the hose in the web of her hand between the thumb and forefinger and she is pressing her palm against the end of the pipe. :B Is that what she was doing? :E
