In my case it was mumps. Born in 1954, I had Chicken Pox by 5. But no mumps. My mother drug me to every kids' house we even REMOTELY knew that had mumps. Nothing worked. To this day I've never had the mumps.
When I was pregnant with my DD in '79, going thru the checklist of diseases/vaccines I'd had, the Dr. Commented that some ppl are just "naturally" immune to some things. Which I must be to mumps. Go figure.
He didn't vaccinate me because I was pregnant already. Still never had them & I'm 60.
