Good grief. When done correctly, dumping the tanks is not tedious nor "filthy" at all - I do it all the time without gloves. I wash my hands thoroughly when done, if it makes you feel better.
I'd rather dump an RV's tanks, than change a toddler who's experienced a "blowout" - and you never see anyone donning gloves before THAT happens.
Now granted, what the OP was talking about was indeed a bit too gross even for me.
