Anyone canceling trips due to Corona virus?
Fair question.
I'm 78 and the wife is 77.
WE cancelled a trip to BYU to see the middle grand daughter and her hubby graduate late next month.
Their both into music and have been in BYU marching band...BYU Sympathy Orchestra ..other BYU bands.
The BYU Sym Orchestra was going on a 3 week tour of Italy...France...Czech Republic.....Switzerland....Austria. Italy has been cancelled and their group leader says probably the whole trip will be.
IMO most Americans see the need to make some changes in their social gatherings where large numbers of people will be in close contact... medical alertness.
Others...... ?? Lets hope they soon take COVID 19 serious sooner than later. - SpeakEasyExplorerSomeone today cancelled their reservations for Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in the panhandle of Florida. I jumped on it right away and got two more nights for our stay there next month.

My post that you deleted about those suggested media outlets is not trash talk. {snip}
I've deleted a lot of the trash talk about various media outlets and media in general. I've also let some of the media comments remain for now.
It was trash talk. That's why I deleted it. Similar posts of yours have been deleted by other moderators.

Lotta Corona in Italy I guess. - RocklinmikeExplorerI didn't cancel but, the MotoGP race in Austin, Tx. in April has been pushed to November. Lotta Corona in Italy I guess.
- dturmModeratorThis topic and the real information that can be shared are too important to get worried about individual posts. I've seen the deleted posts and concur with dedmiston. Some deleted posts refer to other posts that have been deleted and are not in themselves trash talk.
Since this is now categorized as a pandemic and legit authorities are estimating that 1/3 to 1/2 of our population could be exposed before this is over, we need a place to share ideas that are particularly important to us as RVers.
Still, don't panic but do take precautions. Every person we can prevent or delay from contracting COVID-19 helps all of us to deal with this situation.
Dr. Doug - Lightning55ExplorerWe are not canceling any RV plans but I'm a little worried about a vacation to Hawaii we have planned in June.
- Shadow57ExplorerNot cancelling actually just booked one today for the fall. I am however very concerned about the number of tests that have actually been given. No one seems to give or have an answer. One place I read only about 6,500 tests given with 900 positive sounds bad to me. Why we don't have more tests available and where they are coming from, I find interesting. We just came back from 2 weeks in the sticks so I am ordering from Sam's club and limiting my interaction with others until I see what happens. I must say it is all interesting reading.
