Sure it is vandalism to cut parts of their property. Where do you live? I'll gladly prune your trees for my enjoyment...
Plus, in PA State Parks- it's illegal to cut down live growth. Not sure why a private park would be different.
I'll pm you my address, I have at least 5-6 trees that need to be cut down.
First off, it's not "pruning trees" for my enjoyment, I pay to rent a spot that supposed to accommodate a tt. If I can't fit my giant 17' hybrid and pull the awning out, you have failed as an owner.
Right, but how do you know that you're going to be happy with my "pruning"? Maybe my gear isn't sharp and I leave a mess behind? Maybe I cut the wrong branches that you had plans for. Maybe I cut too deep or at an angle or you name it.
Longest story short- if you can't get into your site due to trees. IMO, it's not your place to go cutting limbs. Pull the camper back out and either ask for the management to trim the tree, for a new site or the route to the exit (and hoping for a refund).
Maybe vandalism isn't the right word. But I still think it's far beyond your "right" to trim trees on private property so you can get your camper in (regardless of size) or enjoy all of its amenities.
