First of all, thank you for your responses! Some good perspectives have been expressed which provide me extra information to consider.
I think that I should provide some more clarification...Ironically, the first campground was a KOA. The site was the last one available to "fit" my RV. The branches were very small and would have hit the living room slide, plus there were branches (sharp palm tree branches) over the roof. I called the office and the owner's son very reluctantly trimmed some of the small branches that would have rubbed against the slide out.
At the second campground, I had gotten onto the space and realized that the branches had hit the roof, reported it because of my concern with hitting them again when I leave. Nothing was done. I left an overall positive review for the second campground on their website and mentioned the issue with the tree. They sent me an apology and said that they would address the issue, but it was too late, after my stay.
Thus, the reason for my post.
