Anyone else not full timing because of the grand kids?

As a single person, I was disappointed to find out how many people that I met were tied down by their grandchildren. Many had grown children and grandchildren living off them and could not share the travels of their dreams because of it. Others thought that they had to be there for every ball game and burp that the grandkids went through.
