That's one thing that would keep me from travelling for long stretches at a time. It's going to be tough not seeing them for 2 months when we go to Alaska.
Mine are small---6,4,almost 3, and 0.5 (due in June.) Those sweet hugs sure do make the world a lot brighter.
IMHO if you don't have time for them when they are small, they won't have time for you when they are older. My children have very fond memories of the times they spent with grandparents when they were small, and I want my grandchildren to feel the same way.
