Travel NOW.
The Grandkids will grow without you. Now that we finally can, we are held up by both health and money. My health went bad during the two plus years we had to be the parents of my son's children. I used to be able to walk all day a 20 mile hike was a good start. I am lame now, getting to the corner is a challenge so there is a lot that we have always wanted to that I now cannot and likely will never be able to. Then there was the abrogation that allowed others to make off with the proceeds of 28 years of scrimping and saving for a comfortable retirement. I should have lived like the grasshopper instead of the any. We still travel, and DW misses the greand children enough to buy presents when we get someplace that has interesting things.
That is my take. Hugs are nice, but you only have so many years left.
