Look, everyone settles on a method that they think works, then tries to justify why the other way isn't as good. It's an annual debate here.
Truth is, both methods will work, but they have to be done thoroughly. Why criticize the airblow method if was still gurgling: obviously there was still water somewhere. Likewise, if you're going to pink it, you have to pinkify every place water might be -- not as easy as it seems in some rigs.
I used the airblow for 8 years in prior RV's, with zero issues. Now I have one that isn't set up for airblowing. Antifreeze method works, but for me it's a bit more hassle -- and the spring will be more work.
