I have always blown, pink, then blown again. The reason was my first RV year I wanted to be extra safe. What I found out was when I blew out the pink I would get 1/4- 1/2 cup of clear water coming out prior to the pink. Then came the 5'ver same thing happened.
My neighbor asked me to help him winterize his little TT this year. So I did my thing expecting to see a little clear water come out prior to blowing out the pink. Nope his rig was built to drain correctly. Nothing but pink from the get go.
FWIW, your rig will determine what you need to do as much as your location does. IMO, if you hear gurgling, pink then blow it out if your location gets cold enough to cause damage to PEX.
