After the winter when I'm finally ready to de-winterize for the spring/summer/fall season I do a rinse of water/bleach through the lines then another with vinegar to neutralize the taste of bleach then after that plain old tap water. After that it's as good as drinking out of the tap at home. BTW we have excellent water here at home.
It is NOT that hard to get the pink out of the lines, the cleaning you do prior to starting the "summer" season of camping should take care of any taste of pink.
