In a way I am sorry to hear you say that. It infers that you were unhappy at your work.
I worked with the public for 33 years, and was forced into retirement by health issues.
I still "work" with the public as a work camper, but the difference is the job is on my terms.
When the campground is full it is full of "life" and I love it. During the week, right now, the campground is nearly empty during the week and I "miss" my campers and the life they bring to the campground.
I still would not change a thing. Retirement is so much fun I should have done it first, while I was young!
