We retired early 50's; sold the house and everything in it and full-timed for 16 wonderful years. We traveled the secondary roads and saw everything on our bucket list. We also volunteered in state and national parks which was an awesome experience. We felt we made a big contribution to the parks. One of our specialties was giving lighthouse tours - a fun gig. We traveled to Alaska and spent the summer and we rafted the Grand Canyon for a couple weeks.
We're now still young enough to participate in many physical activities and thoroughly enjoying our 70's. We wouldn't have changed a thing.
