If you prefer something small, you could very easily tow a Scamp 19' (gooseneck hitch) or Escape 5.0, they are lightweight and aerodynamic. I know of some folks towing these with Tacomas, Rangers, Frontiers... so your Ram wouldn't break a sweat.
