Anyone use the Northern Tool Powerhorse 2000w Gen?

With all the 2000w Inverter Gen's out there, And all the chit chat about which one is best, Northern Tools seems to have the only 30A plug on it. Seems to get good reviews. So I'm just looking for feedback on the Northern Tools Powerhorse 2000W gen.

What good is a 30A plug on a generator that puts out 16?

Honda has a 2000 inverter model that has a 30A plug. It is a nice convenience to not need a pigtail. I have a Champion 3100 inverter generator with the 30A plug and it's very nice.

Good point. Maybe it can be paralleled with a second generator?
  • I have had the powerhouse 2100 for about 7 or 8 years. It has remote start and 2000W continuous. It worked for me and retails for about $50 more then that one.
  • Using an adapter is no big chore. I was more interested in weight, size and noise for those rare times I need my generator when camping...very rare. 43 lb Westinghouse.
