Are our roads getting worse?

We just finished our 4,000+ mile snowbird annual adventure, which left us feeling like our roads and interstates are worse than ever. It doesn't look like our government is able to keep up at all with road repairs. No wonder our tire discussions go on for ever.

    Our California roads even with a massive gasoline tax increase are terrible! Gee, if I can just serve 6 years in the Assembly or eight years in the Senate without fixing anything but funding pet projects...I’ll be termed out! And the bullet train...now they get the funds.
