HAHA I got it - JiminDenverExplorer III have to admit I am more likely to just look something up for a quick answer than wait for a reply to a thread. The forum is better for in depth discussion of many opinions on the options and situations available. The devil is in the details and there are a lot of details in the forums even if there are a few devils too.

LOL :B
Somebody upthread accused me of assuming everyone here is white. I don't assume that, but I do think most people here are.
If I am wrong, then yes, that is racist of me -- to think that a certain cultural vibe must be white.
I'd like to know the facts if anyone has them.
Aside from that, a theme I am seeing in this thread (and elsewhere here) is that there are two main, conflicting, ideas about what a forum should be:
Some people think it should be all facts, question and answer, off-topic posts deleted.
Others think it should be that plus social interaction, opinions, personal stories and experiences.
I think the second option is more fun, myself. But I see the tension between these two viewpoints everywhere in the forum. It may even be the heart of the 'use the search function, newbie' posts. - fj12ryderExplorer III

that do not know what a carburator is.

--Snarky Creepy White Person - navegatorExplorerMore and more are using the internet to look up answers to the problems that they are trying to solve, rather than using this forum to ask the same questions, specially the jounger generation that do not know what a carburator is.
The digital era is here, we saw a really big RV that everything is controlled by a computer, slides, lights, levellers, etc. The only manual labor were still the sewer hose, water hose and electrick cable the rest was controlled by a small unit that looked like a phone.
navegator y - JiminDenverExplorer IIThe forum could be even simpler, just make a sticky that says but this generator, these batteries, that controller and the list goes on. Suggest anything else be it less expensive, just as good or even better and those that paid the price ten years ago are offended. It's their way or the highway and they will hammer you until you relent and everyone buys the ten year old tech that has worked for them in their situation. After a while it's not worth the energy to set up the test and posting the results and charts because even in black and white, you will be wrong.

- tpiExplorerCould be...maybe the whole thing just needs to run it's course. Something new will pop up to replace it with it's own set of protocols.
