I doubt you work at whatever you do for free, why would you expect a dealer tech to?

I didn't expect anything. I'm simply asking the question, is this normal? I did pay a prep fee and was wondering if that charge included winterizing.
In your original post you said the unit was delivered to the dealer already winterized ... makes sense since the unit was manufactured in that part of the country where one would probably want to winterize no later than about the first week or so of November. For a dealer located in Florida to then de-winterize the coach so it can be sold and then put into use is what I would expect to be included in whatever prep fees you paid if I lived in that part of the world. However, the fact you've decided to head north with this unit at a time of the year when one wouldn't want to do so without the unit winterized should IMO be a cost you should pay for. After all, it's you who has decided to head north with this unit, not the dealer ... someone has to pay for this service and if not you then who? Despite your many replies from those who seem to believe RV dealerships are a bottomless pit $$$$$$ the fact is no business can simply give away "freebies" and expect to be around for the long term. JMO, but the answer seems obvious to me.
