I just bought a new trailer last month. It came from the factory winterized, but the dealer set everything up ready for camping so I could test it in the PDI. There was no dealer prep fee or any other fee other than the price we agreed on and a minimal ($14) document prep fee. I tested it at home for a week, then winterized it myself. The reason for a November purchase - I have the entire camping season to use it next year. Anything that pops up during the year will have until November to be covered by warranty, so I can drop it off at the end of camping season and they can keep it all winter if they wish. I get free storage and they have plenty of time to fix what needs fixing before the next camping season.
