My questions for the forum are these, When you pick up an RV up north in the winter, do they de-winterize it for you so you can test the system and then re-winterize it for you? If they winterize it for you, do they charge you for this service or is it simply a part of the delivery service and the "prep" charge on the purchase invoice?
In our case, we bought our new 2004 Class C in January in Michigan - the dealer stored it for us (winterized). In March, we picked it up and received (free) instructions on how everything worked - but we left it winterized. Our dealer told us we had a couple of months, to take it camping a few times, make sure we were happy with the systems, and the fit and finish - and then could bring it back in for any "tweaking" it might need. I think it was either late April or early May when we took it back with a few minor items we felt should be better - and they fixed everything at no charge. That dealer was General RV in Wayland - we have always been treated wonderfully by them - but that was 2004. I don't know if they've changed that policy since then.
