Some know-it-alls seem to forget about their first-time camping experiences.
To me, this forum is for asking questions....not for doing a search. That is what Google is for! Most of the time searches are so time-consuming and non-relevant. You have to pour through pages of stuff that doesn't even pertain to your direct questions.
I try to give answers to the OP's questions and when folks get off-topic I just leave. . . and no, you probably won't meet those kind of people in campgrounds when you need help. You'll find that 99% of the folks really do want to help and not to put you down. You'll also find that many won't offer their help unless you ask. So on this forum and in campgrounds - just ask! Good camping to you.
