Yesterday my son was shooting some video of him making coffee. "Why?" I asked. :h His answer - people will watch anything, get enough views on YouTube and he gets paid for it! I guess he's right as only occasionally have I found anything even remotely useful on YouTube, mostly it's garbage like this. :R
YouTube has saved me many dollars by watching "How To Videos". I fixed the coupler between the motor and the transmission of my clothes washer myself after looking up the noise and watching a repair video on YouTube about it. I was getting ready to junk the washer out only yo find that it was a 30 dollar part and a 20 minute fix. I also fixed the broken agitator in my clothes washer the same way.
It is a great resource for people that like to fix their own stuff. Much cheaper then paying a repair man or buying a new every time something simple breaks.
Like everything else computerize these days you just have to learn how to use the search bar and find what you want and then skip the rest.
"X2", Toughtop has great videos, you tube had some I liked better. Fixed my DW's 6CD changer in her Explorer in 30 minutes, saved $600(at the time) and even then it was hard to find someone to fix it, Dealer wanted to replace it.
You just have to know what you want to find.
