If it was just you and your husband and seeing anything along the way, wasn't a priority, then it's possible.
But expecting to drive a RV with kids, that far in 7 days, is a terrible idea.
Remember you can't drive a RV as fast a car, especially in mountains and you have to stop more often to refuel.
so it takes much longer with a RV.
And it's quite unlikely that a rental RV won't smell unless you get a brand new one.
