Since all of our road trips go through the Smoky Mtns at Gatlinburg TN that has killed three days and is only 450 miles from here... Next stop would be CLOUDLAND CANYON on top of LOOKOUT MTN near Chattanooga TN. That kills another three days and we are only around 600 miles into the trip... Still got over 1700 miles yet to go after six days just to make Phoenix...
We spent right at two weeks in the FLAGSTAFF AZ area that we called base camp and then visited all of the well known places within 200 miles of there...
Nothing better than waking up in SEDONA AZ and catching the morning SUN shinning through the RED ROCK canyons...
I can also guarantee your RV camping trip will not go off without issues probably making your hubby catching a flight to make his meeting leaving you and the kids in a hotel somewhere getting things fixed up... Takes years to do these kinds of trips and plan for the all the PLAN Bs you will need to have...
You just can't pile in to a strange to you RV unit and expect it to be all peaches and cream... Hasn't worked that way for me at any rate haha....
