Well now...I think we are all missing something here. First off, the lady writes back...twice..and is laughing, not cringing or running. So..a trooper. She has guts and a sense of humour. What more could anyone ask for than that?
Most of us that do RV are going to say no to the plan. But...oh hell, go for it. I am betting that if you do go..it will be a trip to talk about over Christmas dinner. Hopefully, it will only whet your appetite for more.
So...tips...Motion sickness..I have driven buses for ever..and a neat trick when driving kids in a school bus is to hang a static line from the frame down to the road level. I usually carried surplus wire coat hangers...but you can buy the straps at a auto store. It appears that the buildup of static electricity really encourages the motion sickness..thus..the dis-charge of same, reduces it.
Other thing is heat in summer. Yeah, you will have a/c up front...the 'house' part won't, unless you have an on-board generator. You will want that. It can be really flippin hot back there. Another thing tho is to have the overhead fan running on exhaust..to suck the warm air out, drawing cool air from the front, where mom and dad-io are.
Have a great trip and really really come back here and tell us all.....
