a week ago we pulled into a campground, we have a tow dolly, got all set up and asked where should I put the dolly, I was told just put in back by the storage shed, ok, we unhooked and pushed it back...

Pick up a lock for it.
You will find "many" CG's make you put the dolly off site. AND many times it is back behind the shed situation so get a lock and be safe.

Sorry my fault I read the post and must have skimmed over the part where he said he locked it. I thought it was unlocked. But.......as stated maybe he does need a better lock that works!
