I will never travel with the motorhome without towing my car with a full tank of gas, you know, a spare tire, spare fan belt, tools, spare oil, and a spare car. +1 on always taking a toad. I do not travel without my CRV behind me. If the MH breaks down, I can always follow the tow truck to the repair facility and then find suitable accommodations for the night.
