Exactly the reason I look anything questionable up on Amazon before I buy it.
In fact, I was in the store yesterday seriously jonsing for a silicone whisk that will open and close when you twist it. Looked it up on Amazon while I was standing in the store. The reviews made me realize that the complaints people had--about a part falling off--had already happened to the two in stock at the store. They were already broken!
This habit will come in uber useful when we're fulltiming, and we may be hundreds of miles away from where I purchased something when it breaks :)
