The only as seen on TV item that I have had any success with (none purchase from TV but at retail stores) is the extended reach pick up tool to pick up items from the floor or put them up on high shelves. This works - until the rubber suction cups used at the pickup end come off after a year or so of use and then to fix that they need to be epoxied back into place for a more permanent attachment.
A few others have been not so good - pocket hose burst after using a couple of months, shoe-dini the extended shoe horn broke with first use, the pillow that holds your tablet does work but was too small for my 10 inch tablet - my wife ripped out the stitching on the pockets that hold the tablet corners and increased what they will hold - so that does work but with not worth it modifications.
