65mph is the tires rating...a safety rating, like most tow ratings. It is not a limit or a max that if exceeded, failure occurs.
Run max cold PSI, drive 65-70mph if you want to, but be darn sure of your overall set up and weights. Over 70mph with a camper isn't wise.
The rest is just luck...and bad luck can happen to anyone...anytime.
