Just a guess, but I bet there are 100's of thousands of people like me, if not more, that ran ST tires for many years at 75 MPH and never had a problem with them. Would I buy a higher speed rated tire? More than likely not. No reason to change.
Much like the reason I don't run synthetic oil. The body, seats and everything else is worn out before the engine is so why buy oil at twice the cost?
