yep done it, didn't work out. using 26' hauler..
i only traveled 5-8 mph over the rating for one trip. the next trip out is when i suffered the failures..
added extra air pressure.. first the rims split and i lost the extra air pressure and a couple of tires..
replaced rims and upgraded to higher load rating tires.
still lost a rim… and all of the the air contained.
next set of tires will be light truck tires. they are not rated to haul as much weight. per tire size, but by upgrading to a higher rated tire and better rims. i should be able to haul a full load…
ps: i lost the time i tried to save by driving a bit faster.. total time lost 3 travel days plus $3k in added expenses. i was lucky i didn't have any fender damage.. same route going slower, only had to drive 5 hrs longer..
