Audio books
We drive for up to 13 hours across the USA to get from point A to B each year. We have made this trip many, many times. To take the hum drum out of traveling at 65MPH we sometimes turn to audio books...

Audio books don't do it for me. Sure, I can listen to them, but they soon just become background noise, and I loose my concentration. Next thing I know, I have no idea about the contents of the book.
I prefer silence while driving, and concentrate on my and mostly other's driving while immersing myself in my own thoughts.
