automatic transmission and a dodge cummins

Thanks for all the info. I've been towing most of my life with a truck 4 speed and a 2 speed in front of that, gear splitting, 8 forward gears, all manual. For the last 4 years towing has been with an auto and I hate it. I'm considering, as my retirement truck, a new Dodge 3500 with a Cummins. It will more than likely be a 6 speed manual.
